Zoagli
Zoagli is between Rapallo and Chiavari, in the East Riviera of the Tigullio Gulf. The sea cliff, with its promenade from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Tigullio Gulf and of breathtaking sunsets, made well known this beach resort. You can feel peacefulness in the little roads, in the parks and villas where olive tree perfume blend in with the sea perfume. In the Zoagli sea bottoms, at nine meters depth, in front of the big round, there is the Sea Madonna statue. It is there since 1996 and is a bronze statue, 1.60 mt high; sculptor Marian Hastianatte made it in order to protect the inhabitants of the village. The Madonna enrich the artistic treasures of the village and is a destination for scuba diving fans and a big tourist attraction.
