Genoa is the capitol of Liguria and a sea metropolis that extends to a thin coast belt, the homonymous of the gulf; But even if geographically is in the east coast, it is considered to be the point f junction of the west and east coast. The historical city centre is made of alleys that highlight the multi cultural aspects of this city and where you can get a glimpse of trattorias, shops and typical bottegas, ancient dwellings and beautiful churches. In the modern part of the city, are important the Aquarium, San Lorenzo Street and Garibaldi Street that is abundant with museums. The little towns like Nervi and Voltri are very fascinating and surrounded with big parks and striking sea promenades.
